November 2015: ImagEngLab has been awarded with a Tesla K40 graphic card provided as a grant by Nvidia. Thank you Nvidia! October 2015: ImagEngLab had attended MICCAI2015 conference (Munich, Germany), giving an oral talk (ICART workshop) and organizing a segmentation challenge. April 2015: For the first time, ImagengLab will be present at XV AIIC (Italian Clinical Engineers Association) meeting. Discussing new perspectives about medical device innovation and management. Two abstract by imagenglab's staff are selected for poster session: i) potentiality of medical device in determination of healthcare activities that requires authorization ; ii) design of a grpah-based model for quality assessment of emergency services. A third abstract was selected for a oral discussion: "Custom-made medical devices: Additive manufacturing driven by medical images" March 2015: Also this year ImagengLab will be present at the Namic Slicer Summer Project Week, Barcellona, Spain
November 2014 - ImagEngLab has been awarded with an AWS (Amazon Web Services) grant in Education Research for a total of 10.000 AWS credits. Well done!
October 2014 - ImagEngLab is in Genoa, at Computer/Robot Assisted Surgery meeting.
May 2014 - Two students attending the course "Technologies for Image Guided Radiotherapy" in the framework of the project "Messaggeri della Conoscenza" have been selected to spend two months in Boston at Massachusetts General Hospital - Harvard Medical School. Congratulations to Antonio and Vincenzo!
April 2014 - Paolo Zaffino was admitted at Medical Image Summer School (MISS), in Favignana. Congratulations Paolo!
March 2014 - A new course titled "Technologies for Image Guided Radiotherapy" will start this month, and it will be open to any student attending the third year of Biomedical Engineer. The course is sponsored by the Minister of Education and University by means of the special program "Messaggeri della Conoscenza" and it is a collaboration between the department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of UMG and the department of Radiation Oncology of Harvard Medical School.
January 2014 - Francesca Spadea was selected for the ESTRO Young Scientists Poster Session with the abstract titled "Tomographic reconstruction of regular and irregular fields by means of optical scintillating fiber layer". Good luck!
